Lexi Wharem of Greenprint Photography and I will be hosting our 3rd in person workshop for beginning photographers.
The opportunity to share our love for photography and teach others about the fulfilling art of capturing life and light is something that has been on both of our hearts for so long. Awaken, our joint one-day workshop, is designed for beginners who have felt the calling to document life through the art of photography.
Perhaps you have a fancy camera, but have no idea how to use it. You’ve been wanting to learn how to take better photographs of your children and the life around you, but all those buttons and settings are intimidating and you don’t know where to start. We want to help you break out of auto mode and start embracing the creative world of manual shooting! The Awaken workshop will walk you through the technical components and teach you how to apply the proper settings to create beautiful photographs, both indoors and outside.
Lexi and Ginger have both been in the photography industry for years and are passionate about capturing the beauty of light, love and family. They will share their combined knowledge and skills in a small and intimate learning environment. It will be a day full of hands on experience, visual examples, shooting together, and time to answer all of your questions. Each participant will also receive an Awaken workshop booklet to use for note-taking and future reference.

WHAT TO BRING
Your DSLR camera and lens(es). If you really want to achieve amazing portraits, we recommend investing in a prime lens. If you're not sure what that means, shoot us a message and we can give you some more information on what to look for and where to get one at a great price. Additionally, you'll want to bring a fully charged battery and an empty memory card, so you are ready to shoot!
